With the students now gone for the summer, Mr. Jarosz and I posted an article on Teacher Magazine online about some of our conclusions about the iPod Touch Pilot. The article is entitled Adding a Touch of Technology.

You’ve contributed a very smart article to the profession. Thanks for reporting student thoughts from the survey. They’re helpful insights into the affordances and constraints of integrating a new technology into the classroom/school. The questions you raise at the end of the article are spot on. Thanks for the challenge!
Thanks! We hoped that the student comments would validate the need to examine how teaching and learning are changing as a result of these tools.
The debate about the technology infusion in the classroom continues, but the pedagogy theories not. Our students needs to be an integral part of their education and the web 2.0 and other mobile technologies provides them the “touch”.
